UGA HEROs, AIDS Athens Recognize World AIDS Day with Free Testing, Resources

UGA HEROs operated a table on Monday at the University of Georgia Tate Student Center to inform students about the day and encourage people to get involved. Catherine Gant, director of philanthropist relations for UGA HEROs, said the organization’s main focus is to raise awareness on campus about AIDS.
UGA HEROs Hosts First Benefit Concert at Georgia Theatre

UGA HEROs is making history for their organization by putting on their first ever benefit concert on Nov. 18 at the Georgia Theatre. Soulful artists Andrew Ripp and Sam Burchfield are set to perform at the event, which will raise money for UGA HEROs’ mission of improving the quality of life for kids in Georgia living with HIV and AIDS.
