A Digital Facelift: UGA HEROs Website Remodeled

If you’ve visited our site in the recent past, you probably notice a significant change in both the look and navigation of the HEROs website. These changes go beyond the aesthetic; they reflect a growing concern within our organization over outreach. As we expand our local influence in the community, we realize that it is time to review our online presence as well.

“The website is the digital face of any organization,” says designer Kaitlyn Brown, who created HEROs’ new custom design. “It’s the first place people go to find information about a place or a cause – especially when those people are strangers to the topic at hand. And for that reason it is extremely important to have effective online communication. Design is all about communication.”

With this in mind, we are seeking to recreate our online persona to reflect the reality of our organization – a cohesive, well-organized, and creative collaborative effort among individuals with a deep passion for a meaningful purpose: to help children in Georgia whose lives have been irrevocably altered by HIV/AIDS. So for this reason, our website has been disassembled and knit back together to better communicate this interest, passion, and purpose.

We hope our new site not only informs you, but also inspires you. Take action in support of our HERO kids today – every donation of time or money makes a huge impact on the lives of children suffering from the impact of HIV/AIDS. You can make a difference.
